Anju Chandran, 22, from Thiruvananthapuram, the capital of the southern Indian state of Kerala, said that her father left the family when she was 6 years old. Since then, the family has been struggling since he went missing in Bahrain, during which he posted a plea on social media platforms asking for help from community members to locate his father.
